Product Warranty

Warranty

Made in Germany, BETTE offer an extended 30 year warranty against manufacturing defects provided all BETTE products are purchased from an authorised retailer and installed by a qualified specialist and only original accessories are used. A sales docket must be provided as proof of purchase upon return of the goods. Excluded from this warranty are damages resulting from force majeure (Acts of God), including, but not limited to, lightning and floods, fair wear and tear, misuse, willful damage, negligence, repair of device without the approval of Distinct Collection or damage resulting from incorrect installation. The manufacturer’s liability is limited to repair or replacement of the baths only. No claim for consequential damage and/or labour and/or transport will be entertained. Damages arising from misuse of the baths will render the warranty invalid. This warranty is only valid when the product has been purchased from an authorised reseller or country/territory distributor, and is only valid within the geographical borders of the country/territory that it was originally purchased. This warranty only extends to the original purchaser of this product and is not transferrable.

VERY IMPORTANT

Once installed all BETTE products are highly durable and resilient, however before installation they are very fragile. Every care needs to be taken to ensure the baths or basins are not dropped, knocked, chipped or otherwise damaged before installation. Any misuse before installation renders the warranty null and void.

Sustainability

As a manufacturing company, BETTE consider the subject of sustainability in its entirety. All BETTE products are verified to the material and range specific Environmental Protection Declaration (EPD) of ISO 14025. In addition BETTE cover two-thirds of the energy they require during manufacturing with electricity they produce themselves. BETTE have invested in two thermal power stations, which provide the company’s required energy; waste heat from the stations is fed back into the production line.
